Boaza Waterfall

Boaza Waterfall, also known as the Singing Waterfall or Dervent Waterfall, is located in the Boaza area near Targovishte, between the town and the village of Prolaz, by the Vrana River on the slopes of Preslav Mountain. It is a small but memorable waterfall, about 5 metres high, formed by a small underground tributary of the Vrana that emerges on the rock face and falls into the river. Its flow is permanent, while the shape of the cascade changes with the season, the vegetation, and the amount of water. Although modest in size, the place stands out through its connection with the Boaza gorge, Marina Dupka Cave, and the nearby historical area of Misionis, which makes it one of the appealing natural spots around Targovishte.
