Germe Bunar Waterfall, also known as Dupkata (“The Hole”), is a secluded spot near the Shipok hamlet of Zheladovo village (Dzhebel Municipality) in the Eastern Rhodopes. Although only about 7–8 m high, it stands out for its unusual shape: the stream runs along a rocky chute and drops through a natural opening in the stone bed, forming the “hole” that gave the place its name. The creek is often low in summer, so the best views are in late winter and early spring—during snowmelt or after heavy rain. Set in a wooded ravine, it’s reached by a short walk on dirt tracks and a footpath to the falls.
