Kamishki (Kameshnishki) Waterfall, also called “Sramezhlivetsa” (“the Shy One”), hides on the northern slopes of Belasitsa Mountain above the village of Kamena (Petrich Municipality), along the Kameshnitsa River. A powerful stream drops through a narrow rock chute, enclosed by a distinctive “П”-shaped cliff, for about 21 m, while steep walls and tall trees keep the gorge cool and shaded even in summer.
A marked trail, often linked to the “Secrets of the Water” eco-path, leads to the base via wooden bridges and steps; you hear the roar long before the waterfall suddenly appears between the rocks. Upstream, the ravine hosts more small cascades and quiet rest spots.
