Petkanovi Waterfalls are a wild and remote cascade hidden among the steep slopes of the Dzhendema Reserve in the Central Balkan National Park. The three waterfalls lie on the second right-hand tributary of the Tazha River at an elevation of about 1,450 metres, with the largest drop reaching approximately 30–35 metres. The water descends through rugged rocky terrain surrounded by the dense forests and deeply cut valleys typical of Dzhendema. Located in the mountains above Kalofer, the falls remain one of the area's lesser-known and largely untouched natural landmarks. There is no marked trail leading directly to them, and access is restricted because of the strict protection regime of the reserve.
