Pod Kamiko Waterfall (also known as the Bov Waterfall) is a scenic twin waterfall in Bulgaria’s Iskar Gorge, in the Western Balkan Mountains, on the Bovska River between the villages of Bov and Gara Bov. The water drops through two neighboring channels—about 20 m each—and during high flow it can split further, forming a stepped cascade with a total drop of up to roughly 40 m. Rock ledges “break” the stream so it scatters into cool mist over dark stone, giving the place a fresh, shaded atmosphere. The marked “Pod Kamiko” eco-trail, built in 2012, follows the rocky riverbed to the base and passes several smaller cascades along the way.
