Prohodna cave

Prohodna is a karst cave in the Iskar Gorge near Karlukovo (Lukovit Municipality), a hallmark of the Karlukovo karst and part of the Iskar–Panega Geopark. It is a natural rock bridge/tunnel about 262 m long with two opposite portals — the Small (≈35 m high) and the Big (≈45 m).

Its central chamber is pierced by two oval skylights called the “Eyes of God,” which flood the passage with daylight and create dramatic shafts of light.

The site is easily accessible year-round; a path links the two entrances, and the Big entrance is a popular spot for bungee jumps.
