The Panoramic Cliffs above Teteven bring together two of the most striking viewpoints near the town – Ravni Kamak and the Opasen Zab shelter. Set below Mount Petrahilya, they form a rocky limestone rim with grassy terraces, steep cliff faces, and wide views over Teteven, the Vit River valley, and the surrounding Balkan ridges. Ravni Kamak feels broader and more open, like a natural panoramic terrace, while Opasen Zab adds a more dramatic, almost alpine character with its small shelter and lookout platform above the town. Together, they create one of the signature natural panoramas of the Teteven Balkan, combining rugged relief, openness, and a strong sense of height above the valley.
