The Vrabcha Waterfall is a picturesque natural landmark located in the Greben Mountain, in close proximity to the village of Vrabcha and the town of Tran. Although not tall, with a drop of only about 4 meters, the waterfall is impressive due to its unique setting within a short rock gorge on the Vrabchanska River, at an altitude of approximately 900 meters. The site is easily accessible and serves as an ideal destination for a short walk and relaxation in nature.
The waterfall is reached via a short and pleasant path that starts from the main road and follows the river's curves. The most striking feature of the area is the natural rock tunnel, about 20 meters long, which the river has carved through the limestone cliffs just before the water drops. The waterfall itself flows into a small pool, and the surrounding sheer cliffs, dotted with caves and niches, give the place a unique charm and a sense of seclusion.
The area around the Vrabcha Waterfall is excellently arranged as a recreation and picnic spot, equipped with tables, benches, and brick barbecues under the rock shelter. In addition to being a place for relaxation, the majestic cliffs have become a popular spot for rock climbing enthusiasts, with dozens of established routes. The waterfall also serves as a starting point for hiking trails to other attractions in the region, such as Dragovski Kamak Peak.
